Dar completes Washington visit
APPISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar on Sunday completed visit to Washington for bilateral meetings with US officials.
During his day long visit to Washington, after the issuance of 500$ million Eurobond, the minister met with State Department Under Secretary Catherine Novelli, Treasury Deputy Secretary Sarah Bloom Raskin and OPIC President Elizabeth Littlefield and discussed matters of bilateral interest, said a press release here. Subsequent to these meetings, the Pakistan-US Economic Working Group is now expected to meet in Islamabad sometime early next year.
