Rabbani asks ministers to explain Mina situation in Senate

ISLAMABAD - In view of the state of anxiety among the families whose loved ones are performing Haj this year and they haven’t heard from them, Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani has asked government ministers to clear the air.
“The unfortunate tragedy at Mina has become a source of concern and anxiety for the affected families in Pakistan,” he said in separate letters to Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousuf. In the letters, Rabbani further said, “the Senate is in session on Monday 5th October, 2015 at 3:00pm and it will be appreciated if a comprehensive statement on the said situation is made.”
