ECP rejects plea filed to annul MQM registration
ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected plea filed to cancel Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) registration as a political party.
The application was filed by common citizen Iqbal Hazarvi and it seeks to annul MQM registration.
The petitioner had also prayed for action against MQM following anti-Pakistan slogans.
ECP discarded the plea due to lack of proceedings.
