Bilawal greets party for victory in PS-127 by-polls
KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated party workers and leaders for victory in PS-127 by-elections.
In a statement here Friday Bilawal Bhutto said, “Karachiites gave priority to PPP over other parties in the by-elections.”
He went on to say the people of Karachi have proved that they are pro-democracy, adding that PPP emerged victorious for providing protection to the citizens.
PPP chairman directed party leaders for door-to-door visit in the constituency to thanks the people for victory.
According to unofficial results, the Pakistan People's Party (PPP)’s candidate Ghulam Murtaza Baloch clinched the PS-127 seat of Sindh Assembly, Karachi, in a crucial by-elections held in the city on Thursday. MQM’s Waseem Ahmed remained the runner-up.
