Bilawal greets Karachi people for victory in PS-127

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated party workers and leaders for victory in PS-127 by-elections.
In a statement here on Friday Bilawal said, “Karachi gave priority to the PPP over other parties in the by-elections.” He said people of Karachi have proved that they are pro-democracy, adding that the PPP emerged victorious for providing protection to the citizens.
The PPP chairman directed party leaders for door-to-door visit in the constituency to thanks the people for victory. According to unofficial results, the PPP’s candidate Ghulam Murtaza Baloch clinched the PS-127 seat of Sindh Assembly, Karachi, in a crucial by-elections held in the city on Thursday. MQM’s Waseem Ahmed remained the runner-up.
