Sindh announces code of conduct for collection of hides
KARACHI: Sindh government has announced a code of conduct for collection of hides of sacrificial animals on Eidul Azha.
According to the code of conduct, the person or organization, collecting the hides, must have prior permission/authority letter of commissioner or deputy commissioner.
A ban has been imposed on use of loud speakers, banners, posters and erecting camps.
Authority letter is also necessary for moving the hides from one place to another.
Carrying arms, ammunition and batons is also banned. This is also applicable on licensed weapons.
Law enforcement agencies would take action against those found violating the code of conduct.
