Pakistan Navy tests anti-ship missiles in the Northern Arabian Sea
Pakistan Navy successfully test-fired an anti-ship missile from to a sea level distance target in the northern Arabian Sea on Saturday.
Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah who witnessed the anti-ship missile firing demonstration said, “ That I am proud of Pakistan’s Navy, which is well prepared and equipped with its capabilities to safeguard Pakistan’s national interests and coasts at any cost,”
Chief of Naval Staff Zakaullah did emphasise two months back in July that the ‘Air defense of Pakistan Navy stands out as a key priority as is equipping it with modern equipment”. After the anti-ship missile tests, the naval chief visited the fleet units stationed at the sea and further took part in monitoring exercises being carried Pakistan’s naval fleet.
