PM Khan chairs first session of Council of Common Interests
Prime Minister Imran Khan chairs the first meeting of the Council of Common Interests Monday.
A seven-point agenda’s discussed in the meeting, taking place at the Prime Minister’s Office starting at 11 a.m.
The summaries to launch a countrywide cleanliness drive and to streamline the regulatory functions of the federal government will be presented for approval in the meeting, according to sources.
Other agenda points include the harmonisation of standards between the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority and provincial food authorities, the Petroleum Exploration and Production Policy 2012, the Workers Welfare Fund, Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution and the import of liquefied natural gas.
