PTCL Is a Source of
Torture

I have been regularly suffering
torture for over one month.
My phone number is 051-4417813, I run a small
scale business. I am also a writer of many books
on our great Sufis. I made dozens of complaints.
I used all my sources and now I feel exhausted.
I called high-ups of this country and I could
not get my phone in working condition as usual.
If someone ordered to bring it in working condition
it worked only for one or two hours. Then it starts
to give double voicing or it becomes single track
and then it dies completely.
If I talk to the employees of the PTCL they simply
say that the lines are not in good condition.
I ask them who will bring them in good and working
condition. Either they drop the phone or they
become silent. I pay monthly Rs.1400 telephone
bill whereas I often use phone cards. My fellow
shopkeepers ask me to keep the linemen happy.
Unfortunately, I can’t do that. I suspect
someone else is using my phone. I don't know what
to do. Is there anyone among the Lords of this
country who could come ahead to help me so that
my phone could start working in a reasonable way
and this torture could be over.
I am in favor of PTCL's complete privatization
- as soon as possible.
