Solitary Confinement and Cellular Phones

I see a great similarity between a cellular phone and solitary confinement. Jail authorities and the inventor of the cellular phones seem to have a lot in common. To draw a similarity between the two may astound many. But my claim is duly supported by logic and reason.
I came to make this observation first when I saw people using their cellular in places where they could have used their home phone or pay phone if the call was that important. Riding a bicycle, driving a car, or shopping in a grocery store people revel in a conversation on their cellular phone. It is so funny. I saw one fellow sitting on the toilet pot and busy talking and laughing on his cellular phone.
Jail authorities and the inventor of the cellular phone shared an idea: They both knew that we are rational animals. Talking and listening are our traits, habits, characteristics. But this makes the cellular phone owner superior than a person thrown in solitary confinement. The latter has nobody to talk to and nobody to listen to. Only the walls are his companions.. Deaf and dumb walls.
