A Way to Help
Stranded Pakistanis

We want to bring
your kind attention a very serious issue, which
has been neglected since the last three decades.
The 250,000 stateless people of Bangladesh (stranded
Pakistanis) commonly called Biharis in more than
60 camps across Bangladesh are living a life of
abject poverty, indignity and humiliation. In
September 2004, we incorporated OBAT Helpers as
a non-profit organization in the state of Indiana.
Our board of directors has established an example
of diversity with Christians and Muslims working
together for the betterment of mankind. We have
started some relief and development work in a
few camps in Bangladesh. For more details please
visit www.obathelpers.org We need your help and
support. Your little attention in this matter
can end their misery.
The SAARC (SOUTH ASIAN ASSOCIATION FOR REGIONAL
COOPERATION) summit is going to be held in Bangladesh
during Feb 6-7. A request from you to all the
leaders of the SAARC nations, especially Pakistan
and Bangladesh, to resolve the issue of these
stateless people will raise hope for them. Your
involvement could change the future of the new
generation in the camps for the better.
