The Two-Nation
Theory

Mr. Jinnah honestly believed
in the two-nation theory. At the same time Hindu
leaders of the RSS had the same opinion.
Muslims struggled and got Pakistan - and it is
a pity that not all Indian Muslims could find
a home in it. Muslims in Pakistan are happy with
their condition. They are happy that their country
is their alone, and not shared with others .Here
they can follow the teachings of the Qur’an,
and Muslim traditions.
If all muslims had settled in Pakistan and the
valley of Kashmir had been included in Pakistan,
there would have been no serious problems between
the two neighboring countries of Pakistan and
India. This very fact legitimizes the two-nation
theory.
Some Hindu Indians question the two-nation theory,
but this has not solved problems between the two
communities, who are like oil and water. Continuing
this myth serves no useful purpose.
It would be better to accept the differences between
Muslims and Hindus, and let them live apart in
peace.
