Comparison

I see a flower,
Besides a tree;
both single, standing in the breeze,
Swaying to and fro.
One is large, wide and huge,
With leafy branches manifold.
The other! Well that’s amusing!
For the other’s small, thin and minute,
With pale rays radiating from a yellow hole.
But, weren’t both born of seeds; little
seeds,
Sown in the same soil?
One so tall, one so small,
Sharing the same soil,
Same sunlight strengthening their growth...
Like men born of men...
Varying in colors, sizes and shapes,
Yet all born of same men,
Breathing, thinking, living,
On the same earth.
Well, this isn’t amusing!
To know that men are born of men,
Yet see in them,
Such anger, hatred and disgust,
For Men!
