Save a Life
An ex-student of NED Engineering
University Salman Ahmed (batch 1996-97, Dept.
Mechanical, Contact: 001773474 3522) has been
struggling for his life. His liver has been completely
burnt due to 11-month long jaundice. He went to
Chicago this January for the treatment. Currently,
he is in South Carolina.
Doctors have advised him for liver transplantation
within two weeks, otherwise his body would be
unable to sustain the operation. The total amount
required for registration is $ 250,000, out of
which $ 60,000 have been arranged. The remaining
amount of $ 190,000 still remains to be raised.
The hospital authorities will admit him when he
deposits $ 100,000 and thereafter start looking
for a liver for him.
Insurance declined any coverage to him and he
has been left to arrange everything on his own.
