Jan brought tears to my eyes. I have quite a few
Muslim friends here in San Francisco and they
are the most wonderful people that I have been
associated with. They are God-fearing people.
When I see them praying as many times as their
Holy Book tells them to, it shames me. Because,
I don’t seem to have the faith that they
have in God.
Their generosity is second to none. I can say
this with absolute conviction. My wife, who had
a stroke in July of last year, is still in hospital
and these lovely people have not only called frequently
to find out about her progress but have also gone
to visit her, and most of all, they have gone
as far as giving me food regularly knowing well
that I don’t have the time to cook.
I am absolutely sure that these are the people
who will be welcomed in the heavenly Kingdom when
they pass away from this world with the words
of God: WELCOME MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.
In conclusion, I would request Zaheer Jan to try
to have this article published in Pakistan, where
those who have enticed others to violate their
Prophet’s teachings, will begin to regret
their sinfulness.
I also wish that somehow this article could be
published in our newspapers in the States so that
all of us Americans could take a lesson from it.
