Help Promote Pakistan’s True Image

I read the book Charlie Wilson's War. Based on this book, a movie has been made.
The book is a faithful reproduction of how Pakistan helped the free world against the spread of the scourge of communism in Afghanistan. The book and the film should have been called ‘How Pakistan helped bring down the communists.’
That was the time when every Pakistani was helping the USA and the free world stand up against communism. It was a frontline state and the war was fought on Pakistan’s border with considerable risk to the security of the country.
All Pakistani Americans should go with placards on December 24 - the day the movie will be released –with the placards loudly saying ‘See How Pakistan Helped the USA’, ‘Pakistan Is the Biggest Helper to the Free World.’
We should show to the world what Pakistan has done for the free world.
Go a step further. Call the local newspapers and TV stations and ask them to cover the event.
If this initiative is taken in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, and all over the world, it will give Pakistan the good media it deserves.
This is a golden opportunity for giving Pakistan the image it rightly deserves.
If they have made the movie according to the book then it will show that the period was the finest hour of Pakistan-US-European co-operation. It will show how brave, intelligent, and good the people of Pakistan are. Help project the truth.
