A Muslim Couple’s
Eid Greetings

My wife Adeeb and I wish all readers
of Pakistan Link and their families a very happy,
,joyous and festive Eid. Our ardent desire and
earnest prayers are that this happy occasion bring
to an end the senseless sectarian violence and
religious and racial intolerance demonstrated
by all nations of the world.
The entire Ummah from Indonesia to Morocco is
sadly engulfed today in tragic turmoil and violence
as never before. The world has never witnessed
before the carnage and mayhem inflicted with great
punitive measures by forces of extremism on fellow
citizens, believers of the same God and Prophet
with such brutality and savagery. All in the name
of God and Islam!
May this festive occasion of Hajj, which reminds
us of the spirit of the great sacrifice of Prophet
Abraham (PBUH), usher hope, peace, tolerance,
and racial harmony in the year 2007.
