MPA Declared
a Proclaimed Offender

A
sitting MPA of the NWFP Assembly Maulana Dildar
Ahmed (MMA), according to a news report, has been
declared a proclaimed offender by the government
of Azad Kashmir and public notices to this effect
have been sent to the government of NWFP to arrest
him at sight.
The alleged MPA has been booked under the University
Act by the Mirpur Police as someone else was taking
the BA examination on his behalf. While the Maulana
has been evading the summons to appear before
the court, the impostor has been sent to the jail.
If true, what a shame for a Maulana and a legislator
to indulge in such cheating. What kind of leaders
are we blessed with and what lesson are they sending
out to the people they represent? Incidentally,
the e lection symbol of most such Maulanas was
book and the innocent masses took them to be Ahl-e-Kitab!!
Choon kufr barkhezad ze Kaaba kuja manad Musalmani
(When Kufr rises from Kaaba where else shall remain
Islam). God help Pakistan.
