The Worst
Govt. in Pakistan’s History

What has been going on in
Pakistan, especially in the last two weeks, is
simply disgusting and truly despicable. The high-handedness
demonstrated by the Military government agents
to thwart the voice of the masses is not going
to succeed and the efforts of the people will
not go in vain.
Today, the situation in Pakistan has gone from
bad to worse: I saw on TV women being manhandled
by the police while they were protesting against
Imran Khan's arrest. The dual role Jamaat-e-Islami
students played on the campus was worse than that
a double-crossing munafique would play. The students
are sell-outs, nothing else.
This is the only government of Pakistan that has
subdued the judicial system to such a degree that
the International Legal Association has been forced
to come out on the streets in large numbers to
protest the brutality against the lawyers and
the judges and the one-man rule.
Never has a government used plain clothes policemen
with uniformed policemen to create terror when
the masses are protesting the injustice meted
out to them. This is the worst regime if we compare
it with the regimes of the past.
By continuing to stay in power our Military is
doing a great disservice to Pakistan. President
Musharraf has destroyed all chances of an honorable
return to civilian life.
