Nawaz Sharif came and left, or was made to leave.
Legalities apart, whether the constitution has
been violated or the SC orders disobeyed, I think
for a change the govt. executed a very well-planned
'action' in handling Nawaz Sharif’s return
to Pakistan. Not a single bullet was fired, not
a single soul was lost anywhere in Pakistan. When
the emotions are high and tempers short, masses
turn into mobs and one could have expected confrontations
far uglier between the Nawaz Sharif jialas and
the law-enforcing agencies, inevitably resulting
in loss of innocent lives and precious property.
The government did well in planning the operation
meticulously and succeeded in avoiding bloodshed.
From here onwards the 'battle' can be fought in
the courts, which is mostly verbal and not physical.
