Where Are the Lawyers, Judges, Bar Councils, Civil Society, et al. ?

Could somebody tell please me why any political party, the media as a whole, the worthy judges and ex-judges, the bar councils and the lawyers, the religious parties and ulema/mushaikh, the human rightists activists, the NGOs, the Commonwealth, the UNDP, the European Union, the USA, the UK and other foreign countries, always in the forefront in castigating Musharraf, his regime and his colleagues, have not condemned the large-scale devastation, destruction, looting and killing in Sindh in the wake of BB’s assassination?
More than three dozen innocent persons have lost their lives. Do they not know that Pakistan economy has suffered losses worth 80 billions in these few days? The Karachi Stock Exchange plummeted to a new record in a day. The Railways alone suffered a loss of 12.5 billion rupees. Don’t people care or have a word of sympathy for the train-travelling passengers who were helplessly stranded for days in the cold weather at small railway stations with no food, water or milk for the babies? Had the local villagers not come to their rescue most of them would have perished in the cold.
What was there that stopped these political leaders from giving a call to their rampaging followers and hooligans to stop looting and destructive carnage? Or is it that nobody listens to them or cares two hoots for the self-proclaimed leaders? I sincerely hope that all the despicable and tragic happenings didn’t have the tacit approval or blessings of these leaders to destabilise the government!
