Sweat & Blood

General Kayani’s orders to all Army officers not to socialise and interact with the politicians have been welcomed by all shades of the society, including some of the media men, who let go of no opportunity to find faults, imaginary or real, with the Army and its commanders.
Mr. Sajid Mir in his TV talk show “Sajid Meer ke Saath”, while appreciating the instructions couldn’t help saying that the Army must defend the borders as the nation pays it with its sweat and blood.
Rest assured all, the army will pay back the nation every penny of it with its own sweat and blood, if and when God forbids, the time comes. But may I ask if the nation pays the corrupt-to-the-core agencies and departments like Police and law enforcement, Judiciary and legal profession, Power sector, Tax and customs, Health and education, and Land administration (the order of corruption has been set by Transparency International) and the politicians from its excretions from some other outlets?
If not, then someone must advise them also to do their duty honestly, devotedly, dedicatedly and selflessly.
