An Inaccurate Newspaper Account

A Pakistani newspaper’s account of the Ambassador Haqqani episode at the AAPNA moot is not accurate.
There was no planned political party demonstration, question or protest. The booing by more than 400 Pakistani doctors against the Ambassador was unanimous when the Ambassador asked a doctor questioner to "grow up" because the questioner had recited an Urdu couplet with his non-partisan question.
I witnessed a bad side of the Ambassador. Now hundreds of doctors all over the US know the level of the Ambassador's congeniality; they also know that the newspaper carrying the report erred in reporting.
I am not linked to any political party and was once the President of the Pakistan Association of Greater Washington. Even if the questioner had a motive, this incident was basically non-partisan and was made into an anti-cultural problem by the diplomat.
