Secret of a Nation’s Success

The administration of justice is the passport to success for any nation.
“You will only be able to attack Christians over our dead bodies,” Ghulam Muhammad Doger, head of the Gujranwala police, warned the rioters in Azizabad Colony.
Two Christian brothers were initially accused of having committed blasphemy but were released by Gujranwala police after the charges could not be proved. This recently happened in Pakistan which has been a haven for extremist groups in the last few years.
Ghulam Muhammad Doger and his police team did a marvelous job in facilitating justice. This happened in the same province where four months ago Governor Salmaan Taseer was gunned down by his own bodyguard for his views on the reformation of the blasphemy law. A few months later, the Federal Minister for Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti – who was the only Christian member of the cabinet – was killed outside his residence in Islamabad.
