Plan to Vote?
By Anila Ali
Democratic Delegate
45th District, California
Plan to vote on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012!
As we get close to Election Day, we need to understand that a lot is at stake, both locally and nationally. Many more Pakistanis are volunteering and engaged around the country than 2008 because a lot rests in the hands of the voters. In California, here’s just a glimpse of what’s at stake:
1. billions of cuts to or schools and colleges
2. public health and public safety
3. future of all working families
The key for Democrats is to win the House back to complete the work that remains unfinished. In California, we MUST defeat Prop 32 and stop SuperPacs and corporations from buying elections. We must also support Prop 30 that stops the cuts to education and public safety.
Join me in helping our President win back the House and the Senate:
