Senator John Kerry: A Friend of Pakistan

After reviewing John Kerry's credentials, I feel President Obama has picked the right person for the post of Secretary of State . Senator Kerry has sponsored or co-sponsored dozens of bills during his Senate career and he can deliver. His experience, vision, seniority and diplomatic ability could make a difference in the next four years.
As a Pakistani-American, I like his religious belief. Once he remarked in an interview with Christianity Today that he “believed that the Torah, the Qur'an and the Bible all share a fundamental story which connects with readers."
Lately, Sen. Kerry travelled to Pakistan and Afghanistan during the times of crisis and returned with good impressions on his Pakistani counterparts. This, undoubtedly, reflects he was, and will be, a good friend of Pakistan on the diplomatic front.
