Military Operation in Karachi

Chief Justice Tassuduq Hussain Jeelani observed the other day that terrorists and mafia have taken over Karachi and the police appears to be totally helpless in stopping wanton killings in the city.
I believe that we would eventually have to impose emergency in the violence-hit city. The Chief Justice's observations make it imperative that the Army should take over Karachi immediately.
A military operation in Karachi is the only way to bring an end to the unending target killings, kidnappings and looting. The despicable acts could not have been possible without the involvement of anti-Pakistan forces in Karachi. We cannot expect any Pakistani or Muslim to kill people of different faiths and ethnicities on a continuing basis, day-in and day-out, without slightest remorse or compunction. The MQM, which represents the majority of the population of Karachi, has been calling for a military operation in the city for a long time. What is stopping General Raheel Sharif or Chief Justice of Pakistan from taking the needed action?
We should always be loyal to the country. We should also be loyal to the government when it deserves our loyalty. But, Pakistan should be our prime priority. For us, the future of the country takes precedence over everything else.
Remember you may delay the action needed on your part but the extremists will not ever hesitate to pursue their evil designs.
