A Comment on Tendulkar's Son

BD beat SA again to win the ODI series, making a four in a row series win  this year..It is good but nothing to gloat about. Yes, we can say that the ODI team is improving. No one makes BD win. BD wins on its own.We do not have ball tamperers and match fixers AS YET. It may come when the competition is greater and there are greater expectations from the countrymen. There is conspiracy around but not everywhere, certainly not in BD wins.

The following was written by one Mr. Khalid, I presume, a Pakistani gentleman, in Cricket.org as a comment on Tendulkar's son.

To All my Indian friends, please excuse the outburst of my Pakistani brothers here. They have never seen anyone getting anywhere on merit and therefore they look at it as if someone is helping Tendulkar's son to rise. The same people, sit at home and don't even raise their voices when they see Bilawal Zardari, Mariam Nawaz and their relatives and friends being given jobs (by their fathers) that will bring about the destruction of Pakistan. So much noise about a 15 year old boy only shows the ignorance Pakistanis and their lack of empathy and understanding. We are brought up to react negatively about anything India and Indians. We can't even use our brains let alone be unbiased on news items such as these. Tendulkar's son must obviously be doing something right to be seen in England as an upcoming star. Sadly, we, in Pakistan can only see everything like that as signs of nepotism which is rife in Pakistan. I am happy to see a 15 year old doing what he likes most.

I was part of PK once. I love it for the good times I had the first 25 years of my life.Then came the saNha of 1971. Things changed. Overnight I became a Bangladeshi. Now I am a US citizen (therefore not a frog in a well). My heart has enough love to spread around to all the three countries. When I write something in this forum, it is to erase misunderstandings and sheer ignorance. I feel sad that people take it as criticisms ( yes they are in a way but constructive). Only a few people reply to my postings. Well, something is better than nothing. My ems only reach PKP1 only. I wonder why?
