Zardari’s Outburst

Emotions seem to have gotten the better of former President Asif Ali Zardari who is generally known for keeping his cool under trying circumstances. The Rangers’ raid on the Karachi Civic Center could be a pointer of looming danger and has un-nerved him to the point of his outright waging war on the army and its higher command.  This is the most unfortunate thing to happen. If he hasn’t done anything wrong he has nothing to fear about. And if someone has done something wrong, he mustn’t protect him and allow the law to take its course.

A word for those whom he has targeted. Please just ignore the outburst and the threats altogether. Do not, repeat, do not retaliate in any way. No rejoinders, as that would bring you at his level, which believe me, the nation does not approve of. Just accomplish the mission of clearing Karachi of the corrupt mafia and do not hesitate even for a second in nabbing the don howsoever powerful he/she might be. This is a sacred task assigned to you and you owe it to posterity to give a clean Pakistan to live in. The entire nation is with you and bids you success, and succeed you shall have, Inshallah.
