JIT Findings Prove Imran Was Right

The Joint Investigation Report (JIT) submitted to the Supreme Court on July 8 is a slap on the face of Nawaz Sharif and his party who have been continuously denying allegations of corruption that surfaced in the Panama leaks. Nawaz Sharif and his family have been in denial for years about charges of money laundering and buying properties oversees.
JIT, appointed by the Supreme Court to dig deeper into Sharif’s wealth, uncovered the means the Sharifs used to plunder the national exchequer. JIT discovered the trail of oversees companies funded by illegal money transfers from Pakistan and using oversees banks as intermediaries. Nawaz Sharif should not only resign immediately but face court trial and put in jail
PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, has proven his steadfastness in confronting the corrupt ruling elite and must get the credit for bringing the true faces of the Sharifs. This accountability process should continue and apprehend everyone involved in corruption, especially those whose names appear in the Panama Leaks. Further, Chairman, SECP involved in record tampering, in an apparent attempt to save Sharifs, must be immediately arrested and put in jail
