Islamabad Toll Plaza

Sometimes back Islamabad Toll Plaza on Motorway was bifurcated into two toll plazas – one on M-1 and the other on M-2 to serve the commuters between Islamabad-Peshawar and Islamabad-Lahore respectively. Now the M-1 and M-2 running in different provinces have different tariff rates, with the result that the commuters going from Peshawar to Lahore have to stop and check out at M-1 Islamabad Toll Plaza just like the commuters going to Islamabad and again recheck in at M-2 Islamabad Toll Plaza for going further to Lahore just like the commuters going directly from Islamabad to Lahore.
These commuters going from Peshawar to Lahore and vice versa cause great congestion at these two toll plazas. On weekends and other holidays, it is quite common to see 3-kilometer-long lines of vehicles at the M-1 Islamabad.
Could the NHA/FWO look into this anomaly in this computer age and provide relief to the poor hapless commuters who are made to cover the last three wretched agonizing kilometers in 30 minutes or more?
