AMMWECon the New Wave of Anti-Semitism in Orange County

Our hearts ache at the image of our local youth posing in the hateful salute of the Nazi movement. Our youth’s mistaken thoughts that their actions were playful and humorous make us question, in our beautifully diverse community, where did we go wrong? We are reminded that lessons of inclusion and diversity must continue.
We are gladdened to see that our community has risen to this painful challenge; this gathering and other town halls that are scheduled throughout Orange County reiterate and teach our youth that attitudes and behavior that marginalize and divide are not socially acceptable. Let us recommit to set the standard for inclusion. It is our sincere hope to never see this painful behavior again.
