Illegal Construction in Karachi

The January 2019 orders of the Supreme Court to demolish all illegal construction and encroachments - including wedding halls, shopping malls, and plazas in the residential areas of the Cantonment - in Karachi to restore the city to conditions 40 years ago have yet to be implemented in full.
Owing to certain administrative and legal limitations of the Karachi City Administration, the Sindh Provincial Government has now been tasked with the demolition of all illegal construction within 15 days to facilitate the plying of the Circular Railway in the city.
I wish the Supreme Court had also ordered exemplary stern action against all those living or dead who were at the helm of concerned departments and looked the other way when the mess was being created under their very noses. They were infamously notorious for smelling the stench of even a brick laid out of the authorized plan of any structure! Exemplary harsh and ruthless punishment should be awarded to them to serve as a powerful deterrent for others.
